The Bushnell University cross country and track & field programs are excited to announce a Winter Recruit Weekend, taking place on January 14-15, 2022.

As part of NAIA National Awards Day, Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes for the 20-2020-2021 season were announced this week. 64 Beacons have been selected among over 11,000 across the association.

Bushnell seniors Logan Oakerman and Jacob Truitt were recognized as CoSIDA Academic All-District selections this week for Cross Country/Track & Field.

The men's and women's track & field teams pumped out two NAIA qualifiers this season, saw numerous school records broken, and finished with four All-Conference finishes in men's sprints.

Senior Logan Oakerman put the final stamp on a remarkable career on Thursday, competing in the Discus at the NAIA National Championship, taking place at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium.

The Bushnell athletic department announced on Wednesday that both athletes who attained "B" standards for track & field have been selected to compete at the 2021 NAIA National Championships, taking place next week in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
