As expected the NCU women's cross country team dropped to No. 2 in the NAIA coaches' poll on Wednesday. Unexpectedly, the Beacons claimed three first-place votes for the first time in school history.

Junior Alyssa Harmon has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Red Lion Runner of the Week as voted on by the CCC Sports Information Directors. Harmon's award comes on the heels of her victory in the NCU Invitational on Friday.
